Hello, and Happy New Year! We have reached day 300 in this war, a sad milestone. Today most of Ukraine is under missile and drone attack, electric services are significantly disabled which in turn impact transportation, water, and heating services. This is nothing new and is expected to be the situation through the winter months. Keep the Kid’s Learning continues in its original mission of providing a place for Internally Displaced People (IDP’s), specifically children and young adults, to gather in an organized environment with an educational focus. Donations to Keep the Kid’s Learning go to providing supplies, meals, hygiene products, simple medical services, and small stipends to teachers that no long have jobs. 100% of all donations goes directly to the effort. In the “Keep the Kid’s Learning Program” there are now:

• 180 teachers, each receiving a $30 – $50 (US) stipend a month (depending on our cash supply)
• 125 volunteers (no payment)
• 950+ children, ages 5 – 17, in 18+ locations
• 25 medical students that trade off making weekly visits to learning sites
• A fluctuating number of foreign volunteers teaching English, Polish and German …. And definitely great entertainment for the kids as the volunteers try to speak Ukrainian. Our program welcomes all – Ukrainian speaking, Russian speaking, Roma, along with refugees from Africa, Mid-East countries and the many Afghan refugees recently relocated to Ukraine.
