“It’s Friday……
The sun will rise soon.
Another day begins in our poor country. The days are the same. Coffee, then more coffee, then we begin the drive to our next distribute point. Our payload is not just what is in our mission, we help other aid groups too. They help us. Our route? Our vehicles? Our destination? Not for discussion. Don’t look for an answer.
We fear the condition of roads and communications. We fear military and civil administrations that hi-jack our hard won aid as “they know better where it should go, and it is a martial law right”. We know most will be sold within hours. To the wealthy that don’t fight, have many dacha’s, can send their children to the EU and its good education.
I hate these thief’s. Our own people.
I hate the men that take our young girls for their own purpose.
I hate this war.
Tomorrow will be Saturday.”
