Hello all,
Quick update from Ukraine. In Lviv we visited and dropped school supplies and other items to a school for refugee children from the now occupied areas. Also went back to the orphanage we visited in November and dropped off laptops and iphones to some of the older kids. One 15 year old boy named Victor hugged me with tears in his eyes to say thank you. That alone made the entire trip worth it.
We also visited a womans shelter and community gathering place for refugees. The director Christina, told us some stories of the abuse that many of the women endured at the hands of Russian “soldiers.” We have heard it before but it still shocks the soul.
We had a nice dinner with old friends and the next day made a clandestine meetup with a contact where we picked up some items for the front and headed to Kyiv. Last night was only the second or third night in the last month where Kyiv didn’t get hit with missiles. Sleep was still “meh.”
Attached are photos of some of the food aid your donations have provided for delivery. These are products made in Ukraine and we have partnered with them to provide home made food for the soldiers and support three small businesses. There are also four rifle optics you will provide for troops in a specific unit on the front
