BEST POSSIBLE USE OF 35 MINUTES IN 2024: Over and over again, we hear Putin and his propaganda machine claiming NATO expansion as the reason for Russia's brutal invasion of Ukraine. As if a defensive organization expansion could ever justify the murder of 10,000 civilians (almost 1,000 of them children), the kidnapping of tens of thousands of Ukrainian children, or the torture and execution of Prisoners of War and a host of other Russian war crimes and atrocities.

But, as it turns out, NATO expansionism is NOT a cause of Russian aggression but a REACTION to Russian aggression. It's the equivalent of a man beating his wife for wishing to divorce him when, in actuality, she wants to divorce him because he's beating her.

Sorry for the violent simile. I think it is appropriate, as Russia is a brutally violent aggressor, whether it be Moldova, Georgia, Chechnya, Syria, or Ukraine, and Russia's aggression is all about one thing... control... just like domestic abuse.
