As we enter the Thanksgiving holiday week, I hope this update finds everyone well.
I just returned to Eastern Europe from the United States, where I had the opportunity to meet with a number of donors, and with Rob Rose from RawTravel.tv. Rob has been a huge supporter of “Keep the Kids Learning”, and I cannot thank him enough.
The late autumn cold that is taking hold in most of Ukraine is just an introduction to the coming winter’s impact on the day-to-day life of men, women, and children throughout the conflict zone. It reminds me that there are multiple dozens of conflict zones with people suffering throughout the globe – situations where people that need serious help. But, this is where the volunteers, teachers, drivers, and medical staff of our organization can have the greatest impact today. We are not going to stop the suffering that this conflict has created, but with your help, we are trying to make it a little less painful, a little warmer, and a less scary for those that have been driven from their homes.
More updates tomorrow as I connect with volunteers that have had communication blackouts.
!!!!! We just hit the $10,000 donation level on GoFundMe. Thank you!!
