Kherson, Ukraine
On 04 November over 50 laser guided bombs were dropped on the city of Kherson, in southern Ukraine, and in the surrounding villages. The targets were civilian infrastructure, including Community Services, Utilities Services, and Schools.
The attached video shows the condition of one school that one of our American volunteers was able to examine. There is no funding available for immediate rebuilding, and it is doubtful if any children would return after this attack.
We can salvage a great deal from the remnants of this school – chalk boards, chairs, desks, …… to other locations. Finding and preparing new locations will take time.
As the war continues in Ukraine, urban populations have moved to suburban areas of cities and villages where they might own dachas (garden homes) or where parents live. Attacks in these more remote areas have become routine over the past few months, and are expected to continue.
We continue to need your help – and to help us by forwarding this update and link to our GoFundMe effort to others.
Thank you.
