By Joseph Nichols,
In the US for a few days getting a container of emergency equipment loaded and shipped. Small solar generators, water filtration, aluminum/Mylar emergency blankets, and 4000btu butane heaters. Butane will be secured in Poland. Tires and belts are needed for general maintenance on our delivery/extraction vans. I hope I throw a few in the container. Always looking for donors.
Right now, all these items are scarce in the conflict region.
The intensity of the conflict on the front lines has been tempered by weather, exhaustion and depleted manpower. It’s turned into a hybrid trench and urban fight along the front. A drone and missile hunt for power and water control structures throughout the country. Numbers are hard to validate, but at least 5 million people do not have access to heat, water, electric or cell communications.
It’s going to be a rough winter.
More detailed observations will be posted soon at NotesfromUkraine.com
