2025 Recap

Summer 2025 was my seventh trip to Ukraine, fourth since 2022's full invasion. Yes, I saw misery... I felt fear... but the overriding emotions were stoic resistance and joy.

2025 UKRAINE RECAP - We fundraised and disbursed over $18,000 to organizations like Care4Ukraine.org, Lada's Orphanage, Liberty Ukraine, NH4Ukraine, H.U.G.S in Kharkiv, A Special Needs School in Zaphorizia, The Traveling Colonels, TAPS Ukraine, and more.

We also helped out our friends fighting on the front, including BMW, Veselka, Anastasia's father's unit, the injured Canadian volunteer hero Mac Hughes from H.U.G.S., and Dragonsky Drone School. 

We helped out individual, everyday Ukrainians doing so much to help the cause in their own ways, such as our pals at Uiavy Bagel Cafe (Olga and her husband, injured military veteran, Andreii) in Kyiv, who bought a desperately needed generator; Svita, who bought gas and supplies to help her shuttle special-needs and elderly from Ukraine for care into Poland; Christmas gifts for young ones near the front via Ukraine Angel Tree; Tania's Mobile School and Library program, Volunteers, Mark Cary and Hymie Dunn on their missions; Julia and Tania, who supplied the 92nd brigade with first aid kits we supplied.

We assisted with many more causes, in small or large ways, that are not listed here.

This brings our total support for Ukraine since the full invasion to well over $125,000. This is likely more, as many of you donate directly to the organizations we highlight (please keep that up!)

Thank you to everyone who helped and bought merch from our STORE where all profits go to help these and other organizations in Ukraine (unless stated otherwise).

In 2026, we'll continue to find creative ways to support Ukraine's grassroots efforts to relieve suffering and hope to end this horrific nightmare soon.
