I'm sharing a letter I've written to Tennessee Congressman Congressman Andy Ogles who, along with four other congresspeople, hosted war criminals and sanctioned individuals from the ruzzian duma in Washington DC on March 26.
The meeting was primarily organized and led by Representative Anna Paulina Luna (R-FL).
The U.S. delegation that met with the Russian lawmakers included:

• Rep. Andy Ogles (R-TN)

MY LETTER IS INCLUDED BELOW as well as photos of Ogles and what happened just two days after Ogles was meeting with war criminals when three children in Ukraine were murdered by the very same country Ogle's was meeting with.
I think more people should let Rep. Ogles know this was not received well in Tennessee, but it’s up to you.

RE: Formal Protest of Meeting with Russian State Duma and Invitation to Ukraine.
Dear Representative Ogles,
I am writing as a filmmaker, a lifelong Tennessean with deep roots in Giles County, and a neighbor constituent of the 5th District. I’ve spent every summer since February 2022 in Ukraine, documenting the reality of the war that the Russian Federation continues to wage against innocent civilians.
On March 26, 2026, you participated in a meeting at the Institute of Peace with a delegation from the Russian State Duma. You met with war criminals and sanctioned individuals of a country that is currently sharing intelligence with Iran to target and kill American troops.
While you were exchanging gifts with these people in DC, Ukrainian civilians were under attack.
• In Donetsk: The bodies of two 13-year-olds in silver bags after a Russian strike.
• In Kramatorsk: A school reduced to rubble, where three people were killed.
• In Mykolaiv: A public park where a 13-year-old girl was killed
I have seen the graves in Bucha. Stood in the rubble Izyum. Cleaned up rubble after a missile strike in Kyiv. I have slept on bathroom floors in Kyiv and Kharkiv while Russia launched relentless drone and missile attacks on neighborhoods. I have seen empty beds of some of the 20,000 Ukrainian children who have been trafficked into Russia— one of thousands of documented war crimes. I have interviewed famous Russian musicians exiled abroad for simply being anti-war. I wonder how Gold Star families of Tennessee Volunteer soldiers killed in Ukraine feel about your meeting?
To host representatives from the failed terrorist state that is Russia, in our nation’s capital while they continue to share intelligence to kill American troops and oversee the slaughter of children and the displacement of millions is an affront to the values of the people of Tennessee
I am formally challenging you to join me on my next trip to Ukraine this summer.
You owe it to your constituents to see the results of Russia’s "policy" firsthand. I will take you to drone schools, liberated villages, hospitals where children and military are recovering from the loss of their limbs, and to speak to American volunteer soldiers fighting for democracy and freedom
Courage is not found in a conference room in D.C. It is found in Ukraine, where children and grandparents face Russia’s terror daily. Do you have the courage of a Ukrainian child or grandmother? I look forward to your response regarding this invitation.
