Russia’s war on Ukraine has caused untold economic pain to Ukrainians. There are reportedly over 500,000 Ukrainians who freelance part or full-time through internet-based platforms whose lives have been disrupted and turned upside down.

The country is full of extraordinarily qualified and talented tech, web, translation, data, and creative professionals in various fields, hungry to work remotely for U.S. and other Western companies.

In addition, millions of displaced Ukrainian refugees need to support their families in their new homes while supporting relatives back in Ukraine. The Ukrainian work ethic is well known, and their honesty and dependability to get projects done on time within a sometimes limited budget have been incredibly helpful to my company, personally speaking.

Now is the perfect time to outsource to Ukrainians or refugees and help them to help themselves.  As with any hiring decision, be they vendor, employee, or freelancer, always do your due diligence. Here are just a few resources for hiring Ukrainians either in Ukraine, remotely, or in the USA.
